Medway Travel bought by CTT Group

Medway Travel bought by CTT Group

Kent-based CTT Group has bought travel agent Medway Travel as it looks to press forward with its planned expansion strategy.

CTT Group also owns CT Corporate Travel. It has now announced the purchase of the Maidstone-based business travel agency, that counts major brands such as Christian Dior, Claire's Accessories and South East Water as clients.

Medway Travel currently employs 21 people in travel jobs and, under the conditions of the sale, all members of staff will be kept on.

The agency was set up in the 1990s by Paul and Caroline Julius and Mr Julius will stay on to coordinate the merger of the two firms.

He said: "I am delighted with the outcome of the sale and firmly believe that in the CTT Group the right partner has been found to take the business forward."
