IGLU.COM is Europe's e-commerce website for skiing and snowboard travel and accommodation. The company has developed a database of over 12,000 ski chalets, hotels and apartments in over 300 resorts throughout Europe and North America. Richard Downs and Emmanuelle Drouet founded the company in June 1998 and the they are based in Wimbledon, South West London.

Iglu ski is the largest independent retailer of ski holidays in the UK. Continued success of Igluski has led to development of Iglucruise , which offers Mediterranean Cruises, Caribbean Cruises and Transatlantic Cruises with exclusive offers with all the major cruise lines. Iglu also have an extensive villa holidays program, Igluvillas, offering properties in all the Mediterranean countries. Iglutropical offers tropical holidays to long haul destinations including the Far East, Australia, America and Africa. Igluhotels offers a wide selection of holidays in high quality 4 & 5 star hotels. Iglucanada offers a programme of low cost, scheduled flights to Canada from Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow, flying into Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and more, including onboard entertainment, in-flight meal and duty free service. Our newest programme, Igluamerica, offers cheap flights USA flying into New York, Boston and Orlando from a number of UK airports. It also features quality hotels in each of the above cities, which are bookable online. Iglulapland offers Christmas holidays to Lapland, including Santa day trips, tours and festive activities. Iglucruise offers a wide selection of great value cruise holidays, including Mediterranean Cruises, Caribbean Cruises and Transatlantic Cruises.

Iglu's focus is on providing great customer service at best value. The company has over 100 professionals, who each have extensive knowledge of ski, villa or tropical holidays and are committed to finding clients the holiday they are looking for at the price they want to pay.

Iglu is an independent company, not financially connected with any tour operator. They source holidays for customers from a fully independent viewpoint rather than offer in-house products as many high street travel agents do. For example, in ski, Iglu work with over 130 UK ski tour operators, representing over 90% of the UK ski package holiday market.

The Sunday Times: Tech Track 100 - Iglu.com were listed in the fourth annual Tech Track 100 league table, which was published in The Sunday Times on 3 October 2004.
