Licensed Maintenance (base) - Base engineers provide support to the technical control centres and aircraft often for defect rectification and AOG recovery. The base engineers role is to ensure the quality and standard of maintenance and ensuring adequate manpower and resources for planned maintenance. You will need to have adequate approvals on the aircraft that you are required to work on. 
Technical Authors support the Engineering departments and are responsible for planning and documentation of the operator’s aircraft. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential as these are quite specialist roles.
Technical Records Officers are responsible for updating the aircraft records system, calculating flight hours and landings, monitoring, recording and forecasting aircraft maintenance to ensure full compliance with legal requirements. You must have strong IT skills and a good knowledge of operating systems.
Aircraft Surveyors. To become an Aircraft Surveyor, you will need an extensive background in aircraft and engine technical surveys. You must also have knowledge of technical records audits and report writing is highly important.
