There is a growing awareness of the importance to travel professionals of the ‘green' position of their current and future employers. With the dangers of climate change a real and growing problem for all of us and the particular sensitivity of this issue within the travel industry we have noticed more customers, both candidates and clients, highlighting the issue in either their recruitment policies or in their desire to work for a company that is serious about its corporate social responsibility.
This issue will continue to increase in relevance to employers and those with the foresight to not only do their bit for the planet but also be able to show their current and future employers that they are serious about the issue will add real benefit to their talent attraction and talent management policies.
